New York City

We caught the tide down past New York City and then up the East River and through Hells Gates. It was a long day. We had left Hop-O-Nose Marina at 4am.

Stepping the Mast

We stepped the mast at Hop-O-Nose Marina on the Hudson River.

Erie Canal

In June 2006 we delivered her down through the Oswego and Erie Canals.

First Splash

We put her in the water in May 2006 in preparation for the delivery to Salem, MA.

The Purchase

I first went to see "Merlin" in November of 2005. She was for sale in Michigan at the time.
